Band News
In 2025, the bands - Croydon Brass Band, Croydon Wind Symphony and Croydon Concert Band have have continued with different activities:
On 13th April Croydon Brass Band participated in the Croydon RSL ANZAC service. Members of the Brass Band also provided buglers for several ANZAC commemoration services in the Croydon area.
On the 19th April The Croydon Wind Symphony competed in the Yamaha Australian National Band Championships held this year in Melbourne. Two days later, the Croydon Wind Symphony Low Brass Quintet competed in the Ensembles section.
Near the end of 2024, all the bands - Croydon Brass Band, Croydon Wind Symphony and Croydon Concert Band have were busy with Christmas activities:
On Saturday 21st December, Croydon Wind Symphony performed Christmas Carols in Main Street, Croydon.
On Saturday 14th December, Croydon Brass Band performed Christmas Carols in Main Street Croydon, near the Croydon Post Shop.
On Saturday 7th December, The Croydon Wind Symphony as part of the Maroondah Carols Band, performed at the Maroondah Carols celebration at Croydon Park, Road, Croydon.
Croydon Concert Band plays at Australian Citizenship Ceremonies held in the City of Maroondah.
